Douglas County Project 2020-57 is a 2 phased project that consists of utilizing the existing roadbed as a shoo-fly during Phase I while constructing a 16’x10’x31’ RCB. The north wingwalls will be constructed in Phase 2 after the RCB is backfilled and surfacing in place. Items included in this project are Clearing and Grubbing, Removal of Existing Structures, Foundation Stabilization, Concrete, Reinforcing Steel, Area Inlet, Cross Road Pipe, Grading, Select Soil, Rip Rap, Aggregate Ditch Lining, Aggregate Surfacing, Temporary Erosion Control, Seeding, and Traffic Control. This project is located on N 640 Road approximately 3 miles west of the intersection of US-59/Route 460. Project 2020-57 is a calendar completion project. The Notice to Proceed (NTP) will be given on Tuesday, September 2, 2026. This project should be completed and the road opened to unrestricted traffic on or before Friday, April 2, 2027 as stated in Special Provision 15-DG-108. |
