Douglas County Project 2026-B5 consists of removing an existing 32’-40’-32’ Reinforced Concrete Haunched Slab (RCSH), construct a 42’-56’-42’ Reinforced Concrete Haunched Slab (RCSH) Bridge. Items include Contractor Staking, Clearing & Grubbing, Grading, Predrilled Pile Holes, Steel Piling, Resteel, Structural Concrete, Concrete Pavement (10”), Rip Rap, Aggregate Base (AB-3), Commercial Grade (Type A) Base, Commercial Grade (Type A) Surface, Aggregate Shoulder (AB-3), Temporary Erosion Control, Seeding, and Traffic Control. Project 2026-B5 is located on N1600 Road between E200 and E250 Roads approximately 7 miles west of Lawrence, KS. The early Notice to Proceed is April 5, 2027, the late Notice to Proceed is June 7, 2027. This project has 130 Working Days to complete to open traffic. There are no Clean Up Days associated with this project. |
