Douglas County Project 2025-B1 consists of removing an existing 22 ft Reinforced Concrete Slab Simple Span (RCSS), construct a 24’-32’-24’ Reinforced Concrete Haunched Slab (RCHS) Bridge. Items include Contractor Staking, Clearing & Grubbing, Grading, Steel Piling, Resteel, Structural Concrete, Concrete Pavement (10”), Rip Rap, Aggregate Base (AB-3), HMA Base, HMA Surface, Aggregate Shoulder (AB-3), Temporary Erosion Control, Seeding, and Traffic Control. Project 2025-B1 is located on N1800 Road between E1100 and E1150 Roads approximately 2 miles north of Lawrence, KS. The anticipated early “Notice to Proceed” is June 2, 2025, the late “Notice to Proceed is July 7, 2025. This is a calendar completion project. The bridge shall be completed and opened to unrestricted traffic by November 21, 2025. |
